Karissa Munson, CNA (center) was recognized as employee of the month for November at Regency Park Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Jefferson. With her are Anne Simpson (left) and Randy Downey.
Munson has been a certified nursing assistant for two-and-a-half years and just earned her certified medication assistant (CMA) in October.
Munson is originally from Ogden and currently lives in Jefferson. She has an 18-month-old daughter and is expecting another baby in July 2015.
Munson said she enjoys making the residents happy and her supervisors nominated her for the award because she goes out of her way to provide extra special care to the residents.
